Meet Gabi – Maker Behind Gabus81 Denim Bags
Hi, I’m Gabriela — and this is my little denim‑powered world.
Gabus81 started with a simple idea: take something forgotten and turn it into something worth carrying.
I’ve always loved denim — the texture, the history, the way every piece tells a story. So I began collecting old jeans, jackets, and scraps, and transforming them into bags with character and soul.
I’m a one‑woman small business, which means:
I design every bag
I cut every panel
I sew every stitch
I pack every order
And I do a little happy dance every time someone chooses one of my creations
My goal isn’t to make hundreds of bags — it’s to make meaningful ones.
Pieces that feel personal. Pieces that last. Pieces that make you smile when you pick them up.
If you’re here, thank you for supporting handmade, sustainable, small‑batch creativity. It means more than you know.

How my bags are made
and why they feel different
Most bags look good when you buy them.
Then real life starts — and they stop working.
They lose shape. Everything ends up in one place.
You’re digging around just to find your keys.
That’s exactly what I wanted to fix.
I start with reclaimed denim — not just because it looks good, but because it’s strong enough to hold structure.
Then I build the bag so it keeps its shape, without feeling stiff or bulky.
What customers notice most?
That they use these bags more than expected — because everything just works.
Inside, there’s a reason for every pocket.
Not just “more pockets” — but the right ones, in the right place, so you stop thinking about where things are.
And the double zip?
It means you can open your bag your way — from either side, depending on how you carry it.
No awkward reaching. No fighting with your bag.
Nothing here is random.
Every detail is there so your bag actually works — every day.
Packing every order
because opening it should feel special
When someone chooses one of my bags, that's already a reason to smile.
So I never just put it in a box and seal it.
I wrap every order the way I'd wrap a gift for someone I care about.
- Brown paper.
- String.
- Simple details.
Not because it's perfect.
Because it feels right.
I also try to reuse packaging whenever I can.
A strong box from another delivery still has plenty of journeys left in it, so you'll often receive your order in carefully reused packaging.
Less waste.
Just as much care.
No two parcels ever look exactly the same.
I have my own style, but every package is a little different — just like the bags inside.
Every order comes with a little thank you card.
I simply add your name and sign it before it leaves my studio.
Just one more small detail that makes every parcel a little more personal.
And every now and then...
there might even be a little surprise waiting for you.
